1 package Onion Bread Mix
1 packet of yeast (included)
1 Cup water, about 80°F
2 Tsp oil
Oven instructions
Place the mixture and the contents of the yeast packet in a large bowl. Add water and oil.
Pre-mix the ingredients with a dough hook in the bowl for 2 minutes on low speed. Then turn it up to slightly higher than medium speed for 12 minutes.
Cover the dough in the bowl. Leave the dough for 20 minutes.
Punch down the dough. Shape into a loaf and place in a pre-greased 5x9-inch loaf pan.
Cover the pan and place it in a warm place, approximately 90°F, for 1 hour.
Bake in preheated oven at 360°F for 30 minutes. Internal temperature of bread: 208°F
When ready, remove the bread from the pan and cover with a towel. Let the bread cool completely before slicing.
Instructions for the bread machine
Pour warm water and oil into the bread maker bowl.
Add the mixture and the contents of the yeast packet.
Set the bread baking mode to GRAIN or WHITE or BASIC. Set the setting to 1.5 lbs and medium crust. Follow the instructions for your bread machine.
When ready, remove the bread from the pan and cover with a towel. Let the bread cool completely before slicing.
